My take on two of the characters from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Strikes Again: Lara Kent and Catgirl.
My obsession with Star Wars' little blue elephants continues: an Ortolan Jedi Knight .
Vehicle design #1: an updated version of the old Tuckers.
Vehicle design #2: a three-wheeled racing vehicle .
Vehicle design #3: a big-ass truck.
Some more quick marker concepts: This one's a big mole/shrew/echidna alien who works as a mechanic. He carries tanks of fuel on his back for emergencies.
Another marker drawing, this one of a fuzzy blue alien I imagined living on an ice planet.
A commissioned character portrait for a MMORPG character: Mylor. I have to admit I haven't been sucked into any of these games yet, mostly because my old computer would have curled up in the fetal position and died... Of course with Star Wars Galaxies on the way that may change.
Another commissioned piece, this time a character portrait for a Star Wars fan based on a picture sent to me by the fan herself. It's encouraging to know that they are out there.
Fellow fans of the Harry Potter novels will (hopefully) recognize Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. If you haven't read the books, now is the perfect time. The fifth book (Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix) is due to arrive on store shelves this spring so you won't have to wait as long as the rest of us for the series to continue!
TheForce.Net is supposed to be hosting a project to create three "virtual sequels" to the original trilogy of Star Wars movies but there hasn't been any news since the 11th. This was my take on Luke Skywalker as a Jedi master in his late 50s.
I remember hearing on the news about a month ago that McDonalds™ had decided to update Ronald McDonald. It turned out that all they'd done was make his hair a little less afro-like and his clown shoes now look more like Doc Marten's (or so they claim). Here's a quick sketch of my take on a Ronald McDonald for the new generation.

My mom made the mistake of having me decorate some gingerbread cookies over the holidays and this is what she got.

I finally got my hands on a set of color Prismacolor markers after waiting two months for a local art store to get them in... This is my first quick attempt at using my new toys: an anonymous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. More to come...

"I am the Borg." Once again showing off the depth and breadth of my dorkiness here's The Borg Queen. I'm pretty stoked about Enterprise, the new Star Trek show. (Orion slave girls... WOO HOO!)

Most Star Wars fans know all about Max Rebo, the famous jizz-wailin' organ player but they don't know his equally famous brother: Ace Rebo, X-Wing pilot for Rogue Squadron. :-)

One of my favorite RPGs these days is Blue Planet from Fantasy Flight Games. I tried to capture the "gritty" sci-fi style of the game's art in this drawing of a couple of young punks standing by the waterfront.

Everyone's favorite Luxan warrior: Ka D'Argo from Farscape.

A page of drawings of characters from Squaresoft video games. I can't even guess at the number of hours I've spent glued to Square's various RPGs. Some of my favorites include FFIII (VI in Japan), FFIX, and Chrono Cross. Here's a larger version of Kimahri from the upcoming Final Fantasy X (Woo hoo!).

Four pages from my sketchbook. I picked up a couple of grey Letraset markers which I have been using to add shading directly to my drawings instead of waiting until I get home to my computer. I highly recommend them to fellow artists.
First up is my entry in RPGAction.com's "All Flesh Must Be Eaten!" art contest: A zombie self-portrait. Now you all know what I look like first thing in the morning...

A female Zabrak Jedi from the Old Republic era. She's wielding a "light lance", a Jedi weapon of my own creation. I was looking for something like a polearm weapon for a character to use.

A Gammorrean bartender. Obviously this would have to be one hell of a tough bar... Check out the aurabesh tattoo on his shoulder ;-).
